📜 How to Create a Certificate for My Activity?
With the Extracurricular Certificate Builder, you will have access to more than 25 pre-built templates designed specifically to meet different categories of activities.
Certificate Templates
All available templates are available in both landscape and portrait mode, so you can choose the one you are comfortable with.
Whether you're looking for a pre-built template to reward your participants' engagement, or you're looking for certificates tailored to a professional skill, the Extracurricular Certificate Builder has everything you need.
Once you go through the template creation process, you will be prompted to choose between an existing pre-built certificate template or one from scratch. You can also choose from categories ranging from the list below, followed by the image.

And the best part about pre-built templates is that they’re completely customizable. That means they’re created with the same elements and shapes you can use to build your certificate from scratch.
Elements
The Extracurricular Certificate Builder comes with a wide range of pre-built elements designed to give your certificate the basic elements it needs. From the Text element to add text to your certificates, to adding information about the activity and participants, everything can be added via the Elements section.
Here is a list of the Extracurricular Certificate Builder Elements that you can find once you are in edit mode.
• Text (Text): A text element to write whatever you want. You can change the font, weight and more.
• Course (Course): Add a course element that will dynamically display the name of the activity for which the certificate is issued. No need to do it manually.
• Student Name: Just like the course element, add a student element to dynamically include the participant's name in your certificate.
• Trainer (Instructor): Add the organizer's name to your certificate without having to manually type it each time.
• Signature : Upload an image and add it as your signature.
• Verification ID: Give your participants the ability to authenticate the authenticity of their earned certificate.
• QR: Add a QR code directly on the certificate that anyone can scan to be redirected to the certificate URL.
• Schedule (Time): Use this element to display the certificate generation time.
• Duration: Display the duration of the activity on the certificate.
Media
The Extracurricular Certificate Builder manages all the images you need to add to your certificates. You'll find a familiar media management interface when managing your images for the certificate creation process.
There are two types of media files you can choose from. One you upload using the media manager, that is, your own images that you have in a local source. Or use the Unsplash image picker feature.
To start using Unsplash images, you don’t need to log in with any credentials. Just click on the Unsplash tab and you will find all the Unsplash images in a list. You can search for the desired image using relevant keywords.
Library
In the Library section, you'll find illustrations, badges, frame designs, border designs, watermarks, and more that you can use to customize your certificates thoroughly.
• Shapes – (64+ shapes)
• Illustrations – (58+ illustrations)
• Badge – (38+ badges)
• Frames – (7+ frames)
• Watermarks – (5+ watermarks)
All elements are fully customizable with options for color palettes, duplication options, locking options, etc. All these options are found in the online edition.
Backgrounds
In the Backgrounds tab, you can customize colors with predefined color palettes, add backgrounds by choosing from different images and patterns.
The background of the certificate is what will catch the viewer's attention first. That's why we made it easy to customize the certificate background.
You can choose from:
• Colors (Color): Choose from a wide range of colors for your certificate background and apply it directly to the certificate to see how it looks.
• Pattern: Apply a series of predefined designs that you want to define for your certificate.
• Background: There are several backgrounds you can choose from. They have been designed to suit a wide range of certificate types.
With the Extracurricular Certificate Builder, adding backgrounds is easier than ever. You'll be able to customize the colors of your certificate background, select specific designs you want to add, or change the background completely from a list of predefined backgrounds.
Layers
Professional design tools use layers to keep everything in order. We also make layer options a core feature of the Afterschool Certificate Builder, so you can customize everything at any time.
For example, if you want to customize the element that is under another element, you can easily select the layer that contains the element and customize it accordingly.
You will be able to lock or unlock a specific layer to avoid accidental customization.
Add Certificate to an Activity
When you're done designing a certificate that reflects your business identity, we need to assign the certificate to the business.
• Publish the Certificate
Once you are done designing the certificate, tap the Publish button at the top of the screen.
• Assign the Certificate to an activity
To assign the published certificate template to an activity, go to the editor of the activity you want to add the certificate to by navigating to Dashboard > My Activities > Activity Editor Icon.
Scroll down to the Certificate Template section, and you will see all the available certificate templates.
Select the certificate you just published, and press Submit.
Now, when a participant successfully completes the activity, the “Get Certificate” button will appear on the activity home page.
By clicking the button, the participant will be able to preview the certificate as shown below.
