The Parascolaire platform allows you to make an activity’s content private using the Content Drip functionality combined with an enrollment validation quiz as the first component in the activity’s curriculum. This approach ensures that only authorized participants can access the content by requiring a code provided by the organizer, enhancing security and control over the learning experience.
Steps to Make Activity Content Private #
Step 1: Enable Content Drip and Set Sequential Access #
- Activate the Content Drip feature by following the setup steps outlined in the Parascolaire documentation.
- Select the option Activity content available sequentially. This restricts access to content beyond the first uncompleted item in the activity, which will be a validation quiz.
Step 2: Create an Initial Topic with a Validation Quiz #
- Create an initial topic in the activity, naming it something like “Enrollment Validation Code Check”.
- If existing topics are present, create the new topic and drag it (using the three lines on the left) to position it before the first existing topic.
- Within this initial topic, create a quiz with the same title as its parent topic, “Enrollment Validation Code Check”.
Step 3: Configure the Validation Quiz #
- Add a single Short Answer question to the quiz, worded in an expressive way such as “Please enter the Validation Code provided by the Organizer”.
- Enable the Answer Required option to ensure participants must provide an answer.

Step 4: Set Quiz Settings for Mandatory Success #
- In the quiz settings, select the Retry Mode option to allow participants to correct errors when entering the validation code.
- Enable the Mandatory Success option to ensure participants must pass the quiz to proceed.
Step 5: Finalize and Manage Access #
- Save the quiz and proceed to upload content and schedule meetings in your activity without worrying about unauthorized access.
- From your dashboard, you can accept ✅ or reject ❌ participation requests for your activity and update it as needed.
